2015 Area Plan for Aging Services Survey

2015 Area Plan for Aging Services Survey
What You Say Matters

Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia is developing the 2015 Area Plan for Aging Services for South Hampton Roads. We want to hear from you about what you think is important so we can help seniors live with choice and dignity in their communities.

We want to hear from everyone. You may already be a senior. You probably know someone who is a senior. Or you may care about what our region will be like when you are a senior. Please take a few moments to help us plan for a livable community. All of your answers are confidential.

Only summary information will be published. Please complete this survey by going to the link on our website at www.ssseva.org and clicking on the TAKE THE 2015 SURVEY button between May 15, 2014 and May 31, 2014. If you want to make comments in person, plan to attend one of our two public hearings:
  1. Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Suffolk Department of Social Services, Room B, 135 Hall Avenue, Suffolk
  2. Wednesday May 21, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Center for Aging Education Center, Room 115 Building 5, 6350 Center Drive, Norfolk For more information, please contact Maxine Scott at mscott@ssseva.org or 757-222-4510

  1. It's important to get the feedback of people who might live there. That way, you know what things need or can be changed for the better. I know that if I was a senior, I would want to live in a place that has good care services and easily accessible amenities. However, I would also look at home care services. http://www.vancouverwa.comforcare.com/Services_Franchise_Home.aspx
